Alta Mira Specialized Family Services was incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit organization in 1985.  (More about Alta Mira’s history.)  As the knowledge base for supporting families has changed over the past 20 years so has Alta Mira, but we have maintained the core values on which we were founded - client care and respect for families as experts.  Our clients and their families come first; they always have.
